At Greenpoint Psychiatric Services we look at three sets of conditions and apply three remedies. The three conditions—ADD, depression, and post-traumatic dissociation—operate on three different levels: the neurophysiological/structural level, the biochemical level, and the
experiential/information-processing/organization-of-the-self level. We believe these three conditions and levels of causation interact with each other, and must be teased apart in order to better understand and help the patient.

At Greenpoint Psychiatric Services we apply three remedies: information/ psychoeducation, medication, and integration. Key components of our treatment include guided visualizations and hypnotherapeutic exercises designed to re-associate, or integrate, parts of the self that have been dissociated by trauma.
